It's not often that an Australian TV show is 100% dedicated to cycling around regional Australia, yet the new SBS series, Trail Towns, does just that. It's billed as a TV show that highlights the many perks to be found on a cycling holiday, including great local food, breathtaking sights and fun-filled activities, along with the unexpected laughs that make a cycling trip unforgettable.

 

 

Trail Towns is hosted by a pair of enthusiastic cycling adventurers. There's Paul van der Ploeg, a world champion mountain bike rider, and Dieter Kahsnitz, a self-professed lover of dad jokes and passionate cyclist. Trail Towns' first season consists of 8 episodes that are scheduled to premiere on SBS in mid 2021, with Paul and Dieter explore the great rail trails across Australia and New Zealand.
