Itinerary

We set off this morning on your first cycle through classic Australian bush scenery to Buchan. There are some steep climbs today but the ever-changing landscape will reward your efforts. We'll have our first group dinner and taste of country hospitality at the Buchan Caves Hotel. Overnight: Buchan. Cycling distance: 60km, ascent: 726m, descent -679m

Meals:  L,D

The cycle today is along winding roads with sweeping, scenic views. We'll stop for morning tea and enjoy the views of W Tree Falls over a warm cuppa. We continue on to our lunch stop in Karoonda and then head to Tulloch Ard Lookout. The wilderness we pass through today is untouched and if you're lucky you might spot a koala or two in their natural habitat. Overnight: Gelantipy. Cycling distance: 45km, ascent: 980m, descent -355m

Meals:  B,L,D

You're in for another day of incredible cycling. We start the morning heading towards Little River Falls, a hidden oasis perfect for a morning tea break with breathtaking views of the gorge. As we continue there will be an exhilarating winding descent down to McKillops Bridge. If you work up a sweat today you can cool off with a swim in the Snowy River. We'll spend the night near Deddick River, in quaint accommodation with no phone reception meaning all there is to do is relax and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Overnight: Deddick. Cycling distance: 55km, ascent: 705m, descent: -1135m

Meals:  B,L,D

The cycle route today is one of contrasts - from gravel roads to lush, green landscapes. The terrain is challenging but rewarding. We have a relaxed lunch before joining the sealed Bonang Road, winding through ferns and wildflowers into the natural oasis of Goongerah. Overnight: Goongerah. Cycling distance: 68km, ascent: 1488m, descent -1546m

Meals:  B,L,D

It's back on the bike for your final day. Today's ride is a smooth one that will give you the chance to reflect on the diverse landscapes you've spent the last five days immersed in. We'll finish the day with a celebratory drink in Orbost before we say our final good byes. Accommodation is not included tonight but we are happy to assist if you would like to spend the night in Orbost before heading home. Cycling distance: 67km, ascent: 582m, descent -796m

Meals:  B,L
